  "One Fine Morning" is probably the high point of the CD. Overall, this is one of those albums that is a masterpiece from the early 70's that holds right up there with some of Chicago's finest. If you like horns and and a touch of jazz in your music, don't hesitate to grab this one/5(20).

I owned all of the Lighthouse albums back in the early 70's and this album and "Thoughts of Moving On" were my two favorites. "Thoughts of." was the follow up LP to "One Fine Morning" released later in /5(30).

  One Fine Morning is Lighthouse's fourth album, and their first since their split from RCA. For those unfamiliar with the group's history, I now humbly offer a rundown of efforts one through three. 1. Lighthouse (RCA) Their first, a hideous disaster. Horrible production meets bland material, and everybody loses.

  Whatever the case, though, this is the album that includes their great cut "One Fine Morning". In case you don't know it, it's got a great funky riff that starts out the groove, then drums kick in with a nice hard fast junglist sound, and then brass and vocals come in at a triple tempo, for a strident jazzy dancefloor groove that lasts about 6 Brand: Evolution (Label).
